famous writer who wrote “Raja Gidh” and ma

famous works, Bano Qudsia, passed away on Saturday, with her funeral prayers to be offered in Lahore on Sunday.
The wife of eminent Urdu and Punjabi writer, late Ashfaq Ahmed, passed away in a hospital after a protracted illness. She was 88.

Her writings introduced readers to concepts such as psychology and scientific principles, intermingled with genuine huma
n emotions.
She wrote in both Urdu and Punjabi languages for television and stage with he
r play, Aadhi Baat, considered a classic.
